Below is Nigeria’s ruling party’s Support Group, APC Support @APCNigeria’s tweet sent on June 5, despite ban, even though Buhari’s political party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) used the tweet to promote Trenchat.com, another social medium.
Can the Nigerian government ban Twitter operations in Nigeria while its political party of the same government continues to use the platform? Can they be using banned Twitter to promote another platform? Is that not double standard?
Malami, the Attorney General of the Federation will have to arrest operators of APC Support @APCNigeria first before arresting any other person who defies the ban in Nigeria to use Twitter.
