Some say it is a coincidence that Alhaji Mohammed Sanusi, the Emir of Kano chose to visit President Goodluck Jonathan few days after the latter returned from Israel. Even if the visit is a coincidence, all of us and indeed Nigeria stand to gain from it. The former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria was reportedly at the Aso Rock Villa this morning to reconcile with President Jonathan after the rift between them following Sanusi’s sack from office as CBN governor.
