Nigerian star actress and entrepreneur, Halima Abubakar’s legal team may file a lawsuit against the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas, following her suspension from the guild for allegedly propagating false information.

Halima claimed that the AGN has accused her of orchestrating a smear campaign, leveling allegations against fellow actors and industry professionals.

In a letter from her legal team, P.D. Pius & Associates, Halima condemned the Rollas’ statements as “false publications” which has damaged her reputation.

The letter emphasized that Halima, a respected Nollywood industry figure battling health issues, was shocked by the allegations.

Halima’s lawyers are therefore demanding that Rollas remove the original Instagram post, issue a public apology, and pay N3 billion compensation for reputational damage.
