Nigerian businesswoman, Chukwudi Somack Mmesoma has shared the story of her journey of resilience and success on Facebook, recounting how she left her marriage with nothing but her two children.
In her social media post on Monday, she revealed how she started selling shoes, clothes, sex toys, and other items to raise her two children, after leaving her marriage with nothing and no skill or anybody to run to for help.
“You will not understand how Good God has been to me. I left my marriage with no skill, no money, no parents, no siblings to run to, No Rich friends to at least support me until I find my feet,” she wrote.
Mmesoma said she left her marriage in a state of confusion, unsure of where her next meal would come from.
“Life was bad. The only Dream I had, was just to feed my children, if that was all I could do, I would be Grateful to God. But God has other plans for me. He that watches over Israel, neither sleeps nor slumber.”
She further claimed that today, her situation has greatly improved.
“Few years down, and this woman here can not just only feed her children, but I can afford small luxuries and vanities of life. My children have never known hunger,” she said.
As she approaches her 30th birthday on November 15, Mmesoma expressed her gratitude: “This confused lady will be 30 on the 15th of November. And I will Celebrate It! God has truly been Good to me! My name is Grace, and God’s Grace has been sufficient for me.”
