Nigerian star actress, Bisola Badmus, has opened up about her challenges co-parenting with her son’s father, King Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as K1 or Kwam1.
The actress revealed her struggles during an interview with fellow actress, Biola Adebayo, where she also disclosed her battle with a brain tumor.
During the interview, Bisola spoke about a series of personal tragedies, sharing that within a few years, she lost her father, mother, and younger brother.
Bisola explained that dealing with her illness has been financially and emotionally draining, although her health is gradually improving now.
Speaking about her relationship with Kwam1, she revealed that she initially kept her health condition from him but eventually informed him.
While he offered some support at first, he has since stopped responding to her calls.
Bisola said: “Initially, I didn’t tell my baby daddy (K1) about my sickness (brain tumor), but he later got to know. He tried for a while but he is not responding to me anymore. All I want him to do is take care of the responsibilities of our son, Malik. I have been trying to cope, but it’s not easy.”
