Reus looks certain to be leaving Dortmund now.
Liverpool have a clear path to sign Marco Reus after Borussia Dortmund ended their attempt at trying to tie the winger down to a new contract.
Reus had rejected the offer of a new deal at Dortmund two months ago, but the German club have been holding talks with the talented forward to try and get the attacker to change his mind.
However, they’ve seemingly proved unsuccessful, and Reus now looks certain to be leaving, with the Daily Express confirming all talks are now over.
The news will alert Liverpool, who are believed to be leading the race for Reus, having reportedly made him their number one transfer target.
It’s claimed a bid of £32million would be enough to get Reus, who wants a contract worth £180,000-a-week
