Reports coming in say gunmen on Monday stormed the premises of Anambra State Broadcasting Service (ASBS), Awada, Onitsha station, Nigeria.
Even though, no life was lost in the attack but a building and buses used by the company for its operations were destroyed and burnt by the irate gunmen.
There have been series of deadly attacks in Anambra State in recent time despite governor Charles Soludo’s decision to offer amnesty to the gunmen tormenting the state.
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has been accused of being behind the attacks in the state but the secessionist organisation has denied having any hand in the violence.
