Reports coming from Nigerian military state that Chad and Niger are in responsibility of security and protection of the border town of Damasak in Borno State.
The revelation comes out after Nigerian military restrained two unaccredited Al Jazeera journalists to their hotel rooms in Maiduguri after they were found ‘loitering’ around operational areas of the North-east.
The military official who spoke with PRNigeria questioned how running insurgents who were crushed by Nigerian Air Force aircraft before being overcame by forces from the two MJTF participating troops would pack over 400 individuals along with them in the process.
