Some wedding ceremonies and a church service holding on Saturday in some communities in Abuja, Nigeria, were shut down by officials of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) enforcement team.
A wedding ceremony at Berger Park, Wuse Zone 6, Abuja and another which was holding at a Christ Embassy Church in Jabi-Utako area, Abuja were shut down by the FCTA officials for going against a ban on public gathering in the FCT.
The FCTA tweeted:
“TODAY: Closure of Chist Embassy church at Jabi-Utako area in Abuja where the FCTA Enforcement team met ongoing church programmes and wedding activity. Kindly abide by laid down guidelines to stay safe
The agency also retweeted a video which captured moment a wedding ceremony was shut down at Berger Park, Wuse Zone 6.
