Former Nigerian Minister of Aviation, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode started his address on the topic: “The challenge of Islamic fundamentalism in Nigeria” from the beginning of the beginning and ended it at where we were some years ago. He began his narration from the behaviours of privileged people – those he called the great monarch of Europe to what led to the First World War (WWI) and the Second World War (WWII) and how those who orchestrated those wars were defeated by the rest of the world coming together.
He narrated how religious fundamentalism began in Nigeria and how civilian and military governments have been handling it up till date.
