The Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, briefly took up a career in modelling when he catwalked on the runway at the African Fashion Week which held in Lagos in Nigeria.
Speaking to newsmen at the show, the monarch said, taking to the stage to catwalk like the models, was his own way of promoting the essence and pride of Nigerian and African fabrics and fashion.
The monarch encouraged Nigerians to go for made-in-Nigeria fabrics and products to enable job creation and youth empowerment through the fashion industry.
