Nigerian Minister of Transportation, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, has been attacked by some Nigerians in Spain today Friday, December 6.

The Minister announced this through his Twitter handle earlier today.

He wrote:

“Some minutes ago, I was attacked by a few misguided Nigerians while on national assignment at a climate change event in Madrid, Spain. They were quickly repelled by the Spanish police before they could do any harm. I am fine. I was not hurt. Thanks for your support & prayers.”

Recall that the immediate past Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, was likewise attacked by aggrieved diaspora Nigerians at the New Yam festival in Germany in August this year.
