Thoughts? Lady started a debate on Twitter with: ‘Marriage licenses should expire like every other state license, to give people the option to part ways or renew’.
Our thinking here is that marriage is not a professional business that brings monetary profit. Why should couples be subjected to rigors of renewal in a thing that should be for pleasure and for life? Why should it be generating money to government in an annual basis? What do you think?
