Acting Inspector General of Police, Adamu Mohammed has been confirmed by the Council of State as the new Inspector General of police.
Mohammed was appointed in the acting capacity on January 15th after taking over from former IGP, Ibrahim Idris.
Adamu’s cnfirmation was announced at the Police Council Meeting presided over by President Buhari in Abuja today May 23
