DaveGass,, I am deeply touched by your narrative especially the honesty with which it was presented. I am also worried you got Yeshua Messiah wrong right from the beginning with the symbolism of Greek mythology perching at the corners of your mind. Being born into Christ or pastoring for many years does not make you a true believer in Christ or minister of Yeshua Messiah. You should have asked Christ for personal encounter with Himself, which is what really keeps a follower through thick and thin. Apostle Paul had that encounter, and with his PhD in Law and fame, he retired to a ministry that put him through suffering all his life without regretting a dime. 2 Corinth. 11: 16-30. I pray you have Him so you may know peace.
