On Monday, lawyers and Civil Society organisations (CSOs) have gathered at the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) secretariat, Abuja to protest the suspension of CJN Walter Onnoghen.
The protesters were seen displaying placards with inscriptions such as: “NJC must reconvene now and expel Justice Tanko Mohammed,” “Tanko Mohammed, stop parading yourself as CJN,” “NBA must act now by ordering lawyers to down tool.”
