A suspected robber, identified as Gift Oben was given a bottle of beer to cool off after he was arrested by members of the Bayelsa State Vigilante Service.
Gift Oben is said to be a member of the dreaded Greenland cult group and was arrested around 4a.m on Sunday in Swali, Bayelsa State.
He was beaten mercilessly by the Vigilante men but in what could be considered as a kind gesture after his drills, he was handed a bottle of beer before being handed over to the police. (Lailas)
