Buhari’s Minister of State for Environment, Ibrahim Usman Jibril has resigned from the cabinet position.
Jibril tendered his resignation letter on Wednesday at the ongoing Federal Executive Council meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Recall that Jibril’s appointment as the Emir of Nasarawa was announced some days ago. It is in order to assume that his resignation from Buhari’s cabinet is as a result of that appointment.
He was appointed as the Minister of State for Environment in December 2015 when the council was constituted after being screened and confirmed by the Senate.
