Our contribution to the dialogue on violence-free elections in Nigeria –Fed University, Oye-Ekiti

The Department of Theatre Arts, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Federal University, Oye-Ekiti has set aside the 3^rd and 4^th of February, 2015 to stage a play to demonstrate why Nigerian politicians should do the business of politics without resorting to violence.

This was made known by the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Professor Rasaki Ojo Bakare. The drama is being staged to further sensitise Nigerian politicians and the youths to embrace politics without bitterness. The drama that would be staged in the University’s auditorium is to show that there is no need for Nigerians to make politics a do or die affair.

Professor Bakare who wrote and directed the play enjoins Nigerians to come and watch the play which has been slated for 2.00pm each day.
