As the showdown between the APC and PDP over the use of Rivers State Adokie Amiesimaka Stadium for the PDP’s Presidential rally scheduled for January 28, continue to unfold, battle ready soldiers have taken over the facility in question.
Tony Okocha, Chief of Staff to Governor Rotimi Amaechi, described the action of the PDP and the Presidency, who might have directed soldiers to forcefully enter the stadium, as criminal.
Okocha called for calm and promised that the matter would be reported to the international community. (Elombah)
