Former Jigawa State Governor loses daughter, Hadiza Lamido, aged 38

Hajia Hadiza Sule Lamido, the second daughter of immediate past Governor of Jigawa State, Dr. Sule Lamido, has died. She died in an Indian hospital on Saturday morning, July 29, after a brief illness.

Born in 1979, late Hadiza is survived by husband and three children. A family source said the funeral arrangements will be announced as soon as her remains arrives Nigeria. May her soul rest in peace, amen.

  1. She probably would have been saved from this brief illness had her father built working hospitals in Jegawa state when he was governor. Instead of working for the benefit of the people, Sule Lamido and two of his songs looted the state dry and he embarked on an inconsequential elephant project erecting of an airport, in a state where less than 100 people fly and Kano’s airport is just a few miles away.

    The birds do come home to roost after all. May the young lady rest in peace and may the sins of fathers not be visited upon thew children, unless the children were accessories to the sins.
