Mrs. Omowunmi Akande, wife of APC chieftain, Chief Bisi Akande, former Governor of Osun State, is dead.
She passed on Tuesday, at the University College Hospital in Ibadan. She was aged 73.
The cause of Omowunmi’s death has not been revealed by the family. She and now Chief Bisi Akande got married 51 years ago and are blessed with many children.
Among the children of the couple are the Osun State Commissioner for Health, Dr Temitope Ilori. and Dr. Wuraola Akande-Solabi, who married in June this year in Ibadan.
