Two accused persons, Elijah Oyebode, 22, and Yusuf Ajibade, 25 were on Tuesday ordered to be remanded in Ilesa prison custody by an Osogbo Chief Magistrate Court over alleged murder of UNIOSUN undergraduate student, Miss Rofiat Adebisi.
The Prosecutor, S.P Mireti Wilson, told the court that the accused persons committed the offense on December 22, 2016 at about 1:00 p.m. at Egbeda Iragbiji area in Osun.
Wilson said both accused persons conspired together to kill Damilola, a 400 level student of Osun State University and then dumped her dead body along a bush path.
The accused persons were facing three count charges of conspiracy, stealing and murder.
He said the offenses contravened sections 324,319(1) ,427 of the criminal code cap 34 vol.11 laws of Osun, 2003.
The Chief Magistrate, Mr Olusola Aluko, ordered the accused be reminded in prison custody pending legal advice from the DPP.
The plea of the accused was not taken. The case was then adjourned to March 30 for mention.
