On Saturday, 17th of December, two female former sex workers who have now repented following evangelization from Omega Power Ministry, got married.
The marriage was officiated by the general overseer of the ministry, Apostle (Dr) Chibuzor Gift Chinyere at the OPM branch church in GRA Port Harcourt.
The wedding of Gloria and Nset (not their real names) is the third in its series with two other rehabilitated prostitutes married within the past three months. During the ceremony, Apostle Chinyere said he was delighted to see both girls married to men of their choices. He also promised not to relent in his efforts to ensure that all the OPM converted sex workers get married and live a sinless life.
The grateful brides who both revealed that they went into prostitution, not out of choice but as a result of their situation thanked the man of God for giving them a new life. Their grooms were also grateful and thanked the Apostle for sponsoring their wedding and providing them with accommodation after the wedding. (LIB)
