Students from my Secondary School are better than Nigerian public University undergraduates -Former VP Atiku Abubakar

Uncategorized

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has said that graduates from public Universities in Nigeria cannot compete with students from his private secondary school, the American University of Nigeria (AUN) Academy, operating in Yola, Adamawa state.

Speaking at a surprise birthday party organized for him by the school, Atiku while giving his vote of thanks said:

“I was in the University of Zik in Akwa in Anambra State on Wednesday on the invitation of the University. There is no student in public Universities in Nigeria that can speak English in an error-free manner like the head boy of my secondary, who just finished addressing us now. When the head boy of AUN Academy, Abdullahi Sani, started speaking, I was thinking it is one of the lecturers in AUN, but only for him to introduce himself as the head boy of AUN Academy,” he said.

  1. People who ruined Nigerian, looting everything in her public coffers should not be featured or listened to drawing comparison on their exploits. Tell me Mr. Abubakar how your country, which was previously rated the best in the world academically, condescend to be compared with your private university if not by your callous looting and wanton neglect. How many of you ex-military leaders have accounted to the citizenry of everything entrusted to your care. God will judge all of you one by one! It is a matter of time.
