The Office of Public Engagement of the State Department will be holding a Townhall meeting for Nigerians, titled “Engaging America: A Townhall Discussion With The Nigerian Diaspora” on Monday, September 19, 2016 at the Brooklyn Central Public Library, New York at the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meeting. Registration is required for participation.
Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari is leaving Nigeria today, Tuesday September 13 to arrive in New York for the meeting. He has yet to signal that he would be meeting with Nigerians on this visit.
