The Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki and his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu, have fulfilled their bail conditions and are pictured above leaving the court premises in a coastal bus.
Saraki, Ekweremadu and two others are standing trial for allegedly forging the senate order during the senate election in June last year. After they pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge of forgery, the presiding judge, Justice Yusuf Haliru, granted them bail. Part of the bail condition was that they must provide two sureties each that will have a landed property in Asokoro, Maitama, Wuse or Garki. (LIB)
