6-year-old survivor of Deputy Governor’s motor accident sues Ondo Govt claiming N1billion for injuries and parents’ death

akinwalesA 6-year-old miraculous survivor of the Ondo State Deputy Governor’s motor accident that claimed the lives of his parents and 2 other members of his family, Master Paul Akinwale has taken the Ondo State Government to Court claiming the sum of N1 billion (One billion Naira) as Special and General damages for the injuries caused him and for the deaths of 4 members of his family.

In a Writ of Summons and 38 paragraphed Statement of Claim in suit No: HID/14/2015, little Paul Akinwale is claiming the said sum of N1 billion for the treatment of his injuries and therapy and for the loss of his parents, sister and one other family member as a result of the dangerous, reckless and negligent driving of the official convoy of the then Ondo State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Alli Olanusi along Akure – Ondo road while on official duty on 1st February, 2014.akinwales2

The Statement of Claim is so loaded with allegations of wickedness, arrogance, oppression, inhuman behavior, recklessness and power intoxication by the Governor, Olusegun Mimiko; Deputy Governor, Alhaji Alli Olanusi and the Ondo State Government to a little boy while he was going through terrifying pain in the hospital by not visiting him and his family as a matter of courtesy even though they knew that they caused the gory motor accident that killed 4 persons instantly through reckless and negligent driving and their lack of respect for other law abiding road users.

No date has been fixed for the hearing of the case.
