Gallant men of the Nigerian police force gunned down five kidnappers in Ikom, Cross River State, this morning.
According to online reports, they had kidnapped a recently widowed prominent woman and all efforts to make them collect N5million ransom instead of N50million, fell on deaf ears.
They were however ambushed by policemen, this morning, and the victim rescued alive. See graphic photos below:
