22 officers killed in Niger state terrorists ambush laid to rest (Photos)

Funeral and burial of the 22 soldiers who died during the combat and air crash incident in Niger State, which happened on August 14, 2023, took place today August 25.

Bodies of the slain soldiers were committed to mother earth at the military cemetery in Abuja. The funeral ceremony was attended by the wives of the deceased soldiers and family members.

Government functionaries led by the Minister of Defence, Abubakar Badaru, and his counterpart for State, Bello Matawalle as well as the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Christopher Musa also attended the burial.
