Now that Oby Ezekwesili and the acclaimed Bring Back our girls’ campaign has woken up again, I must give them my humble commendation. It would be the gravest corrupt practice of our time if they had to abandon the campaign either to please the government of the day or intimidated by whomever to do so. Even if at the end of the day only one of those girls should come back home to their family, the campaign is still worth it as a reminder to the authorities that there is still Job to be done. I strongly disagree with Obasanjo on his assertion “that anyone saying the girls would return was simply lying“. A Father does not go home and sleep well when the faiths of his siblings are unknown.
But I wonder what the Police ring is for. Is the Presidency afraid of harm from his citizens just voicing their opinion?
