19 suspected persons to be in connection with the death of General Idris Alkali have been arraigned before a High Court in Jos on Monday.
They were all arraigned on a two-count charge bordering on criminal conspiracy and culpable homicide.
The two counts charge was read out to the 19 accused persons, who all pleaded not guilty.
The prosecution counsel, Emmanuel Ochoma then asked for an adjournment to enable the prosecution present witnesses to prove the case and further requested that the accused be remanded in prison.
The court granted the prayers and adjourned the matter to December 10, 2018 for hearing.
The defence counsel, Gyang Zi, while answering questions from journalists after the court session, said that they will file application for bail immediately.
