Unpleasant news for British Janet Jackson fans: the American superstar has cancelled the entire UK leg of her Unbreakable world tour weeks before it was due to take place.

The 49-year-old was scheduled to play four dates across the country at the end of March and into the beginning of April, but they’ve all been postponed due to “scheduling difficulties”.

“It is not possible to confirm new dates at the present time so we are refunding all ticket holders,” an email from Ticketmaster told fans.

The dates affected are as follows:

  • March 30 – Barclaycard Arena, Birmingham
  • March 31 – The O2, London
  • April 4 – The SSE Hydro, Glasgow
  • April 5 – Manchester Arena, Manchester

Jackson was forced to cancel a string of North American dates back in January in order to undergo emergency surgery.

Those dates were rescheduled for this Spring, which may have caused these latest round of scheduling conflicts.

Janet Jackson kicked off the Unbreakable World Tour back in August last year to promote US number-one album Unbreakable, the long-awaited follow-up to 2008’s Discipline.
